Second Step - Lesson 4: Self-Talk for Staying on Task

  • Self-talk means talking to yourself out loud in a quiet voice or inside your head.

  • Self-talk helps you focus and maintain attention.

  •  

Music & Movement - Your child finished learning about the brain and how it processes under stress. They celebrated Halloween and also began the throwing & catching unit.

Notes and Reminders:

  • The Scholastic and Usborne Book Fair November 6-10 from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm  (on Friday the 10th, they will close at 4pm) GCS Library

  • Parent Teacher Conferences ~ November 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th

  • Swimming Dates: January 12th, January 26th, February 16th, March 2nd.

 Hints for Home:

Read each day with your child for at least 20 minutes

Practice tying shoes
